Dear Valued Customer,
With record-breaking temperatures affecting much of the United States this summer, we'd like to share an important reminder regarding Tape Hair Extensions and Replacement Tape Tabs.
At Remy Corp US, we take great care in protecting the quality of our products. All tape products are stored in a climate-controlled warehouse to ensure the adhesive remains in optimal condition before shipping.
Unfortunately, once your order leaves our facility, it travels through shipping trucks, distribution centers, and carrier warehouses where temperatures are not temperature-controlled. During periods of extreme heat, packages may be exposed to very high temperatures for extended periods, which can affect pressure-sensitive adhesives.
☀️ How Heat Can Affect Tape Adhesives
Excessive heat may temporarily soften or weaken the adhesive used on tape extensions and replacement tape tabs. While this does not happen with every shipment, it is a possibility during periods of extreme weather.
Since these conditions occur after the package leaves our facility and are completely outside of our control, we are unable to replace or warranty tape products that may have been affected by shipping temperatures.
We appreciate your understanding as this is a shipping and environmental condition that no manufacturer or retailer can control once a package is in transit.
✔️ What To Do When Your Order Arrives
To help ensure the best performance of your tape products, please follow these recommendations:
🏠 Bring your package inside immediately.
Avoid leaving it in a mailbox, on a porch, inside a garage, or in your vehicle.
🌡️ Allow the products to return to room temperature.
Let the tape extensions or replacement tape tabs sit indoors for 12–24 hours before opening or installing them.
❄️ Store them properly.
Keep your products in a cool, dry, climate-controlled environment away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
🔍 Inspect before installation.
If the adhesive feels unusually soft after shipping, allow additional time at room temperature before installation.
✋ Use proper installation techniques.
Always install tape extensions on clean, dry hair free of oils, conditioners, or styling products, and follow professional installation procedures.
